The Friday Socks

This Mother's Day weekend has been great! This weekend was all about my mother and grandmother.  I knew this Mother's Day weekend was going to be fun. But, not like this.  During the Mother's Day weekend, my hometown had something planned for this past Friday. In my hometown, there was an Annual Relay for Life this past friday.  Relay for Life is a fundraiser of fighting against cancer.  Churches and business companies of our community would all get together at our community fairground.  All the churches and business companies would each have a theme for the Relay for Life.  All the churches and business companies would each have cook-outs and sell food.  There would be small lit up white bags to surround the community fairground.  The lit up white bags would each have the names of the people of the community who have died of cancer. There would be a live band playing music in the middle of the fairground. Children would be playing games around the community fairground.  For Relay for Life, the survivors of cancer would walk around the fairground to celebrate their defeat of cancer.  After the survivors of cancer would walk, the rest of the community would around the fairground to celebrate Relay Life for Life. Everything was so great.  I had came to the Annual Relay for Life with my grandparents to support our home church of selling food. I was just enjoying the live band until suddenly, I noticed a teenage girl's tube socks. How can a pair of tube socks get my attention? Easy when it is not white. But, these socks were not just any colored tube socks. These tube socks had a picture of a movie poster on them. Who would of thought that someone would put a movie poster on any type of clothing? Who would thought that tube socks would have a movie poster on them?  But not just any movie poster. These tube socks had the movie Friday on it. One of the greatest funniest films of all time was on a pair of tube socks. This is how everyone should support a good movie. If I had to support my favorite movie, I would of support it on tube socks, a T-shirt, and a handbag.  To me, having a movie poster on tube socks is very creative. What made this moment perfect is that the teen wore these tube socks on a Friday.  I was really surprised that there would be socks that would have a movie poster on them. What made the socks stand out more was teenage girl's shoes.  The shoes were purple Nike sneakers with the soles of the shoes being the color of neon blue. The shoes match perfectly with the socks. The blue and purple in the socks connected with the blue and purple in the Nike sneakers.  The socks were not too loud.  By having the color blue and purple, the tube socks were calm and cool along with the sneakers. Whenever anyone see these fabulous tube socks, they cannot stop but to look at them. These tube socks can be worn by both female and male teens. These tube socks can be worn by high school and college students. If anyone was to ask me, these tube socks are worth wearing, buying, and loving.
