Finally Loving My Scarf

I am starting to like scarves a little bit during this season.  All thanks to some of my family members, I got a few scarves that are running around in my closet. When browsing in my closet, I found this beautiful scarf.  My aunt gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago and I never  found a chance to wear it with anything.  However, I had a new  different prospective about the scarf during this season. As soon as I tried it out as a costume, I never looked back.  Now, I love this scarf like it is no tomorrow.  This scarf is going to make the fall/winter sweet for me.

Costume…
When I first decided to wear the scarf, I wore it as a costume piece.  My church was having a Christmas Retro Costume Party.  I decided to go 70’s with my costume.  I really did not buy anything.  I just found a cute jumpsuit that I have not worn since my college years.  I also end up finding my red Halloween wig that I never had a chance to wear.  Last but not least, I end up finding this scarf.  The scarf was from Calvin Klein.  The scarf was black with white snake skin prints on it.  At the end of the scarf, was a silver charm that had the name brand's name engraved in it.   By paying attention to the scarf for the first time, I noticed how very pretty it was.  I wore the scarf as a head scarf and called the whole attire as a 70’s look.  The scarf was great with my 70’s attire.  I had fun at the Christmas Party along with everyone else who attended.  This scarf was everything at the party.

A Change Of Heart…
After wearing the Calvin Klein scarf at my church’s Christmas Retro Costume Party, I had a change of heart for it.  I wanted to give this scarf a chance as an accessory.  I had so much clothing to choose from in my closet, that it is not even funny.  However, I have noticed this nice outfit that I had in my closet that I felt like it was not complete. 

Every time I wore this black and gray checkered outfit, I  always felt like it was missing something.  I decided to wear this outfit with the Calvin Klein scarf.  After wearing the scarf around my neck for the first time, I really saw how much beauty it had.  It was dazzling as an accessory.  Best of all, it completed my black and gray checkered outfit.  This scarf was amazing and made my attire complete.

Slowly In…
After wearing this Calvin Klein scarf, I am slowly in the scarf team.  I now want to work my attire a little bit around scarves.  I am saying a little bit because I am still not sure about scarves.  But it is alright.  Just one baby step at a time. However, this scarf did open the door for me to like scarfs in my wardrobe.  After wearing this scarf for the first time, while having it for a few years, scarfs are starting to grow on me.  Looks like scarf season is in for me for this season.
