My Semi Style
Big Red…
When I was looking through my closet, I saw my red business pants suit hanging in it. It has been a good while since I wore this business suit. As I was looking at the suit, I realize that it was time to bring it out of retirement. I decided to wear the red business suit top as a red blazer. Red blazers always symbolizes power and independence. That is what I wanted to show in my attire. I wanted to look unstoppable and down right victorious. What I love about this red business suit top is that it shows a little bit of a causal look but, still can be taken seriously. This was going to my first actually mixing business attire with a casual attire. I can honestly say that I am loving my first experience.
Loving the White…
Let us all just admit that the colors white and red look great together before and after Christmas Season. When deciding to wear my red business top, it did not take me long of wanting to match it up with my white long sleeve button down shirt that is from Gap. The shirt had no problem bringing out the red business top. The shirt was able to allow the red business top to bring out more of its style. The long sleeve top was able to bring more of red business top’s confident and powerful style.
I was starting to feel like I was more in control all from wearing these two pieces together. With this white top, I was able to pull off a semi-casual look as fabulous and independent as it can get. What I can just love about this shirt is that it can be a semi-casual look by itself. The shirt alone is all about business. I can happily wear this top and still keep my confident and independent look. With this white long sleeve button down shirt, I can easily be within my confident and independent attitude.
The Jeans…
Picking the bottom of my attire was a piece of cake. I just easily went with some dark high rise jeggings, nice taupe boots, and a black belt and called it a day. I wanted to look serious but, I still wanted a laid back look as well. The jeans, belt, and boots had no problem dialing down the business look of the red business top and the white button down shirt.
The red business top and white button down shirt can easily blend with the jeans, belt, and boots. On the contrary, the jeans, belt, and boots' casual attire was dimmed down as well all because of red business suit top and white sleeve top. In other words, both different types of styles somewhat cancel each other out to created a greater attire. With these two different styles colliding together, I look amazing.
After wearing a semi-casual look, I felt in control. However, I felt as though I can easily relax and step off a little bit. With me trying this semi-casual style for the first time, I can easily say I feel fabulous!
