Peaches For The Spring

 

As the beautiful spring/summer season is quickly coming, it is time to get out the sandals.  But first, one must get a nice pedicure before ever calling to wear sandals.  It is always healthy to get the nice feet done before exposing them to the great outdoors.  During this weekend, I made sure to have the feet looking nice and pretty for the next season.  Let the preparation begin!

 

Welcome

After all the cooking, cleaning, and blogging, I thought when was the last time I actually got a

pedicure.  After putting away the dishes, I automatically hopped in my car.  I went to the closest nail spa that I could find in my city.  I found a beautiful spa called Today’s Nails at a strip mall.  As soon as I walked in, I was happily greeted with open arms by the hostess of the spa.   I needed a pedicure and my eyebrows done ASAP. 

As soon I told the hostess, she happily allowed me to pick out nail colors for my feet.  She sat me in the nearest chair available.  I was offered a free drink.  I happily picked out a sweet sangria wine while enjoying my pedicure.  I only been in the spa for five seconds and it feels like I am at home.

 

 

Relax…

While sitting in the chair, I decided to pick out the treatment of the day. With this treatment, my feet was cleansed with aloe vera salt scrub.  This felt so

amazing on the feet, that I felt like I was in heaven.  Next, the nail technician placed a nice neck warmer around my neck.  This really put me into a mellow mood.  As soon as I was enjoying the neck warmer, the nail technician was clipping my toenails.  After clipping my toenails, my cuticles was getting backed up.  During this time, I just knew this pedicure was long

overdue for me.  Then, it was back to enjoying the nice aloe vera on my feet.  This time, deep cleansing.  When the nail technician was finished, it was time to pick out a color for my nails.  This spa was everything.

 

Picking A Color…

The color I picked for my toe nails was the color honeymoon.  This color was a light peach that

would keep the feet bright and pretty.  This color is the perfect color for spring season.  Keeping the feet shining beautiful within the beautiful outdoors.  As soon as picked the nail color I wanted, my feet was get a nice warm wrap.  The nail technician massage placed my feet in a plastic bag filled with hot purple wax.  Wrapping the legs into warm blue towels.  When I mean I was in pure heaven, I mean I was in pure heaven.  This was pure paradise.

 

Almost Done…

Later, my feet and legs was

massaged in aloe vera lotion.  Afterwords, the nail technician massaged my legs and feet with warm coals.  There is always something about warm coals that just relaxes the body.  Then, it was time to massage the legs and feet again with aloe vera. 

Not to mention, the hostess top me off with some sweet sangria wine. After all the feet massaging, it was time to get the feet done.  To buffering the nails and making sure the cuticles are great.  At this time, the neck warming cooled down.  As soon as my nails were getting painted, I was loving the honeymoon color.  My toenails were looking beautiful.

 

I am so happy I spoiled myself.  This was way overdue.  Most of all, my feet is ready for the next season.
