Father’s Day

What a better way to celebrate a great father no other than Father’s Day.  From being the provider and  sacrificing.  Fatherhood comes from integrity, strength, and patience.  It was an honor to explore Father’s Day colors with makeup throughout the past week.  To being creative and just having fun.  It was great to try new makeup looks on the face.  Just like Father’s Day, this make up was awesome.

Tan…

When it comes down to color tan, it is all about warmth and

comfy.  These are some of the traits that describe’s a father’s love for his children.  Just like a father’s love, I decided to keep the make look natural.  I went to my Winky Lux’s “Mini Latte Kitten Palette.”  I used the brûlée color as my base color.  This light tan was just perfect for the eyes.  Next, I went to my Morphe’s “9T Neutral Territory” eyeshadow palette.  I applied the color open mind on top of the brûlée color.  This light brown color blended with the previous color.  Allowing my eyes look to look more natural.  I went back to my secondary eyeshadow palette.  I blended the color straight up

with the open mind color.  This sparkling light brown color was able to allow my eyes to naturally pop.  Allowing the makeup to lay beautiful on my face.  Giving me such a beautiful natural look.  With the color tan, my eyes look more beautiful.

Olive Green…

The color olive green is all about safety and growth.  Reflecting on a father’s

protection and learning more about himself as a father.  With this color,  I decided to just be creative with it.  I went to my Revolution’s “Disney’s ‘The Princess and the Frog’” makeup palette.  I used the color Louis as my base color.  This beautiful olive green color was everything on the eyes.  However, I wanted to keep it popping on the eyes.  In order to do that, I had to use my Ucanbe’s “Twilight & Dusk” eyeshadow palette.  I applied the color royal on top of the Louis color.  The beige color allowed the olive green color to pop within my eyes with glamour.  Next, I went back to my secondary eyeshadow

palette.  I blended the color saffron within the royal color.  This clay brown color was able to keep the previous colors on the eyes looking bold and nice.  With the olive green color, my eyes look so intact.

Blue…

The color blue is everything.  It is all about wisdom and trust.  Reflecting on a father’s wisdom and trust.  With this color, I decided to go with a bold look.  I went to my Revolution’s “Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’” makeup

palette.  I used the color ocean as my base color.  This blue color was just so beautiful on the eyes.  In order to keep the bold look, I went to my Juvia’s Place’s “The Candy Shop” eyeshadow palette.  I applied the cream color on top of the ocean color.  I went back to my primary makeup palette.  I blended the Adella color with the cream color.  This beautiful lime green color was just icing on the cake to maintain my bold look.  With the color blue, my eyes look confident.

It was so cool to honor Father’s Day in a creative way.  When learning the meaning of each color throughout the week, I appreciate my own father a whole lot more.  Learning more about fatherhood was great.  Father’s Day is not only an honor for fathers but, a privilege.
