Very First Time

When I mean I am still have goosebumps from last month, I mean still have goosebumps from last month! This was my first time ever going to Charlotte’s ArtPop Upcycled Fashion Show & Fundraiser.  Their fifth annual show was a sight to see.  It was so great to see on how vinyl from billboards can be created in such a impressive way.  This show was amazing!

Sweet Flowers…

One of designers’ pieces I loved in the show was Shekinah Williams.  Her piece was out of the this world! Worn by model

Danavia C. Huntley, this dress would make anyone love  flowers.  This long flowing dress had so much poise on the runway, that it was so irresistible.  What the audience loved about the dress is the vinyl material was made in big flowers.  The big flowers together created a beautiful flowing dress that incredible for the eye can see.  The petals of each flower on the dress gave the whole entire dress a unique look to it.  The gigantic size flower petals is what makes the dress stand out so much on the runway.  Giving the dress such a splendid  look that the audience could admire on the runway.  With these flowers, the dress had confidence, technique, and uniqueness.  This dress was something to love on the runway.

Fashion Of Tomorrow…

Futuristic attire is always the best when ripping the runway.  It is always created out of the

box.  There is always so much imagination in the attire.  Designer Alexander Windner Lieberman pull no punches when showing so much creativity on the runway.  Worn by model Rahguelah Conyers, this attire was fantastic.  What made this attire so cute is that it looks spaceship inspired.  The dress and visor were able to give a nice sci-fi look that is out of this world.  All thanks to colors pink, yellow, and red, the color blue is able to give out a nice futuristic style.  These colors is able to

clash with the color blue in a such a spacious way.  Allowing the color blue to look more futuristic.  The dress and visor were also able to light up on the runway.  Allowing the whole attire to have a much more futuristic look.  With this attire, fashion will always be ahead of its time.

Seeing Red…

It is always great to see a mother and daughter work together beautifully on the runway.  Designer Rachel

Malasky showed so much talent on the runway.  Her daughter Leah Freeman had no problem modeling so poised on the runway.  With the mother and daughter duo, the audience saw true craftsmanship of the dress.  The beautiful dress worn by the daughter was this cute red and black strapless dress.  This dress had so much class on the runway.  What the audience loved about the dress is that it flows gracefully on the runway.  The big flow skirt on the dress was everything and more.  What made the skirt so flowing are the skirt being crinkled.  The

crinkles allow the skirt to flow in such a sensational way.  Giving the whole entire dress a desirable look.  This red dress shows so much unique detailing of what a mother and daughter can do on a runway.

My first time going to Charlotte’s ArtPop Upcycled Fashion & Fundraiser was such a great experience.  This experience made me love recycled fashion even more.  With the experience I had, this make me want to go to the annual show every year.  With so much creativity and talent, this show was a enjoyable to see.
