Jolly and Greedy

Christmas is always the best holiday to celebrate.  From the wrapping paper to gingerbread houses, this holiday is so much fun!  Just as fun as  being makeup inspired by it.  During this week, I was able to be inspired by Christmas icons.  Throughout this week was fun and exciting.  It is so spectacular to be inspired by Christmas icons.

Rudolf…

During the first day of the week, I was inspired by Rudolph The Red Nose

Reindeer.  It was hard to blend in the colors that I used for this character.  However, I made it work the best way that I could.  First, I went to my Ucanbe’s “Aroma” eyeshadow palette.  For the color brown, I used the color sandalwood.  So far, my eyes were looking fabulous.  Next, I went to my Revolution’s “Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’” makeup palette.  For the color red, I used the color Attina.  Next,  I went to my Morphe’s “9T Neutral Territory”.  I used

the color bare play as the color white.  This color was hard to blend in with the Attina color.  First, I used my ring finger to blend in the two colors.  Then, I went back to using my e.l.f’s blending brush.  After blending the colors a little bit harder on the eyes with my blending brush, I was able to get a nice Christmas look.  This look was beautiful.

The Grinch…

When being inspired by the Grinch, I tried two different looks of green.  I did not think the first look was cute by

looking at it at work.  But as soon as I seen the pictures, I feel in love the first look.  I decided to the use the second look as a poinsettia inspired look.  With the first look, I went to my Juvia’s Place’s “The Candy Shop” eyeshadow palette.  I applied the color cream as my base color.  This color was going to represent the color white.  Next, I went to my Revolution’s “Disney’s ‘The Princess and the Frog’” makeup palette.  I used the color frog as the color green.  Then, I went to my Ucanbe’s “Twilight & Dusk”.  I used the turkish delight color as the color red.  I only applied this color just a little bit on top of the frog color.  After adding

the turkish delight color, I thought it took away from the frog color.  However, I had a change of heart after looking back at the pictures.  After looking back at the pictures, this look really grew on me.  Giving me a cute makeup look. This look is fantastic.

Frosty The Snowman…

The Frosty The Snowman inspired look end up being my favorite look out of the three Christmas looks.   I went to my Revolution’s “Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’” makeup palette for my base color.  I used the dinglehopper color as the white color.  Next, I went to my Morphe’s “9T Neutral

Territory” eyeshadow palette.  I used the color win-win as the black color.  The win-win color was too loud on the eyes.  I went to my Juvia’s Place’s “The Candy Shop” eyeshadow palette for the last color.  I blended in the orangesicle color within the win-win color.  I was able to calm down the win-win color. Giving my whole makeup look a sweet freezing look to it.  This makeup keeps the eyes looking traditional.

Three Christmas icons were able to bring my face to life.  From keeping the eyes greedy, to keeping them jolly.  My makeup brought in the Christmas spirit.
